The most important team is the All Blacks and their Haka. This sport arrived in New Zealand around 1870 with the help of Charles Monro, and just 18 years later the New Zealand Rugby Union was founded. Currently this discipline has its own league, the National Provincial Championship, which was founded in 1976.
